Trouble shooting POSTFIX

Please install webmin and ensure it is working properly
Please stop your iptables from running




Now you are ready to read the information below:

Step 1:

Go to this web address:

Step 2:

Go to this item on the left:

Step 3:

Click the mail log link and

Step 4:

When email has not been successfully relayed it will have a 5.7.1 error

Step 5:

When email has been successfully relayed it will have the removed item within its log and not 5.7.1 error

   

In case you guys need to add anymore and I am not available do the following

Step1:

Initiate sessions  to the msg2 using putty

Step 2:

Use your credentials

Step 3:

Run this command:  vim /etc/postfix/main.cf

Step 4:

Press the  / button         

Step 5:

Type:  mynetworks = 192.168.22.31

Step 6:

Now press the "insert" button

Step 7:

Enter IP like this:    111.111.111.111/32 following the comma    (do not allow full networks like 111.111.111.111/24)

Step 8:

Press the "esc" button

Step 9:

Type wq for write and quit

Or

If you made a mistake type: q!

Step 10:

Type postfix stop

Step 11:

Type postfix start
